MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- Russia will fulfill its guarantees provided in foreign currencies in rubles, according to a presidential decree elaborated by the Finance Ministry and seen by PRIME on Thursday.
"In order to prevent a technical default in guarantee cases under state guarantees (due to the impossibility to make transactions in a foreign currency), the draft decree stipulates that the state guarantees provided before the entrance of the decree in force shall be fulfilled in the currency of the Russian Federation (rubles)," an explanatory note said.
